Snow Emergency

When a snow emergency has been declared, the city prohibits on-street parking any time two or more inches of snow have accumulated, until after the street has been completely plowed, as stated in Municipal Code 901.080(D)(8). The two-inch guideline applies to any hour of the day, any time of the year.

The parking ordinance does not apply to private streets, only to public roadways plowed by city crews. Residents who violate the ordinance will be ticketed by Ramsey County Sheriff.
