Parking is not permitted on city streets between 2 - 5 am.
Exceptions include building construction, out-of-town guests, driveway construction, and large family gatherings.
Permits for driveway construction or large family gatherings. Permits 1 to 7 days at a time, for a total of 14 days per year.
Licensed vehicles and licensed trailers
Dumpsters, PODs, and building materials are not allowed on the street.
Permits are not allowed for contractor vehicles or trailers.
Submit your request by 4 pm for approval.
Snowfall of more than two inches requires all vehicles removed from the street.
Submitting a request does not guarantee approval. Plan to submit your request no later than 4 pm the day before you need the permit. Weekend permit requests are not approved after 4 pm on Friday.

Special Event Parking
The City may allow parking on streets posted "No Parking" for special events such as graduation parties or garage sales.
A parking permit for these events is available by filling out the request form.
Requests are reviewed on a case by case basis so please allow 48 hours for review.
Please note that if approved, the No Parking signs are to remain uncovered. Any covering, painting or removing of the No Parking sign will result in canceling the permit.

Block a cul-de-sac or section of the street
City crew will drop off 2 barricades to the address on the permit to help redirect traffic.
Police and Fire Dept will visit your event if you contact them at 651-266-7339.
Barricades for weekend events are dropped off Friday at the address listed on the permit and are picked up at the same location on Monday morning. Any missing or broken barricades will be billed to the permit holder.
Our normal business hours are Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4:30 pm. We will respond to your request within 1 business day.
