Post Date:10/09/2017

The Fright Farm Haunted House - the legendary horror experience - is consistently named by local media among the best and scariest haunted attractions in Minnesota. Since 1996, Fright Farm has provided frightening scenes in a blend of horror, local legend, and folklore for tens of thousands of audience members.

Located among the relics of the Ramsey County Poor Farm and Cemetery in a massive, historic barn, Fright Farm takes place in the heart of the east metro at the intersection of White Bear and Frost Avenues in Maplewood, Minn.

New for 2017 are: The Carnival of Fear – a spine-chilling and immersive take on the sideshows and carnivals of yesteryear; The Legend of the Witches' Woods - the infamous tale of buried secrets in the forests of Maplewood; and The Puppet Factory - uncover the horrifying reason behind the fear of puppets, mannequins, and dolls.

Survivors of the haunted house can experience other activities on the grounds including attractions, free photos, food, and beverages.

For young children and the faint of heart, a family-friendly “Low Scare” event takes place Sunday, Oct. 29 from noon to 4 p.m., featuring a more tame version of the haunt, as well as fun family activities and free prizes. Admission to the Low Scare event is just $5 for all ages.

Tickets to Fright Farm are just $12 for all ages. All proceeds from Fright Farm benefit the nonprofit Ramsey County Sheriff’s Foundation, which supports important public safety and community programs.

Fright Farm Haunted House is open Friday and Saturday nights in October, as well as October 31, from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
