The City of Shoreview, along with six other neighboring communities, contracts with Ramsey County for Police Services. The Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office provides law enforcement and public service in accordance with our constitutional and statutory mandates. The Sheriff’s Office is committed to leadership in public safety, through professionalism and partnership with other agencies.

Neighborhood Watch

Neighborhood Watch is an association of neighbors who work together with the Ramsey County Sheriff's Office to detect and deter crime. This program is critical to safety and security in our community. There are currently 47 organized, year-round Neighborhood Watch groups in the City of Shoreview. Night to Unite is a statewide event that builds and fosters community bonds between citizens, businesses, and public safety organizations, such as the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office. This annual celebration occurs on the first Tuesday in August and gathers neighborhoods and public safety personnel together for an evening to promote safe communities. Citizen Academy

The Ramsey County Sheriff’s Citizen Academy provides citizens with an opportunity to learn more about the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office.  Throughout the academy, participants witness first-hand the broad array of services provided by Minnesota’s First Law Enforcement Agency, with many Sheriff’s Office members sharing some of their personal experiences.
