Ellen Brenna
Natural Resources Coordinator

The purpose of Shoreview's Urban Forestry program is to ensure the preservation of the community forest as a valuable natural asset to the City's quality of life.  Trees increase property value, lower heating and cooling costs, reduce noise, improve air quality, provide habitat for wildlife, decrease stormwater runoff, and improve our quality of life in many other ways.

This division is also responsible for the annual tree sale, reforestation efforts and the management of diseases and pests on private properties. If you are concerned about a declining or hazardous tree on your property, please contact the Natural Resources Coordinator.
