|The Ralph Reeder Food Shelf is a Community
Education Program of the Mounds View Public
School District offering emergency and
supplemental food assistance, short term
case management to other low income resources,
school supplies, and holiday help to
low income residents in our community.
The Ralph Reeder Food Shelf currently gives out over 35,000 pounds of food and non-food items to low income families and individuals each month. To meet the growing needs of those who are less fortunate, they rely heavily on donations of food and cash from area churches, businesses, schools, clubs and individuals who share a common concern: Hunger.
Ralph Reeder accepts all non-perishable food items, fresh garden produce, personal care and hygiene items, cleaning supplies, monetary donations, gift certificates, school supplies and holiday toys and gifts. Cash and check donations are used to purchase meats and milk and to replenish their shelves. A small donation can make a big impact when food shelves stretch their dollars by purchasing through their local food banks and vendors.
Checks can be written to the Ralph Reeder Food Shelf
