Running for Office

There are three seats up for election on the city council in 2024: (1) mayor and (2) councilmembers. The mayor serves a two-year term of office and receives $10,128 annually. The councilmembers serve overlapping four-year terms and receive $7,524 annually.

Campaign finance forms

Per Minnesota State Statutes, the city must post all campaign finance reports filed during an election season for four years. View the 2022 and 2024 campaign finance reports from candidates that received contributions or spent $750 or more.
