Residents may choose any licensed residential trash hauler below for their home trash service.
Trash haulers are required to inform their customers each year where they take their waste for disposal. Waste can now go to a resource recovery facility where it is processed into fuel to burn to produce electricity.
Some haulers charge additional fees such as a fuel charge or environmental fee but do not include these in quoted rates.

Used motor oil, filters and antifreeze can be dropped off at Arden Hills collection shed 24/7.
Unwanted medication can be dropped at a variety of free sites throughout Ramsey County.
Yard waste and compost can be brought to Ramsey County yard waste sites or your trash hauler may offer an additional service for curbside pickup.
Bring your broken household goods and clothing in need of repair to a Ramsey County Fix-It Clinic. Volunteers provide free, guided assistance to disassemble, troubleshoot, and fix items.
