Current city projects

We understand that street projects can sometimes cause short-term inconveniences. Our plan is to complete these projects with the least amount of interruptions. We thank you for your patience as we continue to improve your streets, utilities, and trails.

2026 watermain project

This project is installing two new sections of watermain from Milton Street to Target Lane.

2026 Pond Maintenance Project

The city is partnering with the Ramsey-Washington Metro Watershed District for maintenance work at four ponding areas in Shoreview.

2025 County Road I boardwalk reconstruction

This project will replace the boardwalk on County Road I between Lexington Avenue and Chatsworth Street.

2026 Snail Lake Regional Park Trail Project

Ramsey County Parks' trail project at Snail Lake Regional Park is planned for construction in fall 2026.

2026 Met Council Grass Lake sewer project

This project includes rehabilitating the trunk sanitary sewer in Snail Lake Regional Park. Metropolitan Council Environmental Services is the project lead.
