Under Minnesota state law, cities must provide a 10-day notice of proposed ordinances. The law applies to new proposed ordinances and proposed amendments to existing ordinances. The city council will take action on the below ordinances at their December 1 meeting:

• Ordinance 1056(PDF, 102KB) - amending chapter 10, article IV, cannabis businesses. This ordinance removes references to edible cannabinoids. This is due to changes in Minnesota Statutes where lower potency hemp edibles have replaced edible cannabinoids.
• Ordinance 1057(PDF, 34KB) - amending chapter 10, article VIII, massage establishments and services. This ordinance adds language allowing for in-home massage establishments.
