Like many Minnesotans, Shoreview is deeply saddened to hear about the senseless killing of House Speaker Emerita Melissa Hortman and her husband, Mark, and shooting of Senator John Hoffman and his wife, Yvette. Targeted attacks like this are heinous and have no place in society.
The city offers its sincere condolences to their loved ones and all who are mourning during this incredibly difficult time.
We ask all our residents to be extra cautious today. If you see something, say something. Call 911 to report any suspicious activity.
