Rent a park shelter
Park shelters can be rented for a fee. Rentals include exclusive use of the shelter for the day from 8 am - 8 pm. Shelters are reserved on a first come first serve basis.

Bobby Theisen shelter is is open for public use only and cannot be reserved for private parties.
Rice Creek Fields is not available for rental.
Shelter rental policies and guidelines
- You must get city approval for any inflatables and give the city a certificate of insurance
- If someone else is using the shelter, show them your receipt and explain that you have rented the shelter
- Call Ramsey County Sheriff at 651-767-0640 if they refuse to leave
- Renting a park shelter does not include exclusive use of the park
- Electricity is not available at all shelters
- 20 amp outlet available at: Bucher, Sitzer and Commons 2 & 3
- The city will not provide extra picnic tables
- Place all trash in trash containers
- Place all recyclable items in recycling containers
- Do not put hot charcoals in the trash containers.
- Only park in the designated parking areas
- Vehicles are not allowed on the grass, sidewalk, etc.
- Dogs must be on leashes and cleaned up after
- Alcohol is not allowed in any of the city parks
- Only Bobby Theisen park building is available to rent
- All cancellations must be submitted in writing:
- Cancellations made less than 21 days in advance will forfeit all fees paid
- Cancellations made more than 21 days in advance will receive a full refund
