Gateway Fiber is a private communications company. They are installing high-speed fiber in right-of-way or easements in various neighborhoods in the city. The city of Shoreview is not leading this project. it is privately-led, similar to electric, gas or communications installation projects by other small utility providers in our area (Xcel, Comcast, Lumen, AT&T).
