Paper shredding event

Residential Paper Shredding Event

    • Have photo ID ready

Shoreview residents can bring up to five grocery bags or banker boxes of documents to be securely shredded. No businesses. Crews will unload vehicles and documents will be shredded on-site by a mobile shredding company. 

 

Curbside mattress collection

Shoreview is partnering with Second Chance Recycling and Ramsey/Washington Recycling & Energy to offer curbside mattress collection in October 2025.

  • Collection dates throughout October
  • Discounted price of $15 per item 
  • Limit four items per household

Scheduling for mattress pickup will open in mid-September on Second Chance Recycling's website

Cleanup day

  • Saturday, May 17, 2025
  • 7 am - noon
  • McCullough Park, 955 County Road I
    • All vehicles must enter from westbound County Rd I
  • Shoreview residents only

Fees

  • Sedan - $20
  • Standard vehicle - $40
  •  Trailers - $60
  •  Oversize loads & moving trucks - $120

All fees must be paid by cash or check.

New for 2025! Shoreview is partnering with Retold Recycling to collect clothing and other textiles.

Bring used, clean, and dry household textiles and clothes including blankets, towels, dishcloths, bed linens, and shoes. Put items in plastic bag.

Retold Recycling sorts and recycles all donated textiles. They may be repurposed by thrift stores, up-cyclers, rag companies, and others.

Unaccepted textiles include unwashed items, carpet/rugs, pillows/cushions, industrial workwear, paint or oil coated garments.

Items not accepted

  • Household hazardous waste (paint, automotive fluids, fluorescent bulbs, chemicals)
  • Yard waste
  • Oversized items
  • Railroad ties
  • Engines containing oil or gas
  • RV refrigerators
  • Materials from private contractors

Donations

Bicycle donations will be accepted at cleanup day. No other donations accepted.
