Learn more about how to put your food scraps to work with the Food Scraps Pickup Program. The program is a new way for residents of Ramsey and Washington counties to recycle food scraps from home! During this presentation you will learn about how the program works, what items can be recycled, program availability, and how participating helps reduce waste and support a more sustainable community. Residents will also have a chance to ask questions and pick up helpful resources.
This event is part of the 2026 Environmental Speaker Series, presented by the Shoreview Environmental Quality Committee. The presentation will be held in the city council chambers starting at 7 pm and last approximately 45 minutes with additional time for questions. Each event will be replayed on channel 16.
