Summer Discovery Beginnings: entering kindergarten

2026 - 2027 school year: June 8 - August 21 (closed June 19, July 3, and Aug 11)

Program includes:

• Smaller staff-to-child ratio
• Swimming on Fridays in the waterparks
• Wednesday entertainment/field trips
• Weekly arts & crafts, science, music & drama, health/fitness/recreation, reading/literacy, group games, swimming, and more!

• 11 - week commitment with up to two weeks of unpaid vacation days (vacation dates due by May 22)

2026 weekly fees

• 5 days a week; $294
• 4 days a week; $264
• 3 days a week; $213

Registered participants will have an opportunity to enroll in a specialty camp week from Aug 24 - 28

Summer Discovery: entering grades 1 - 6

Summer Discovery NextGen

Summer Discovery NextGen is a 9-week program designed for ages 12 - 14. This program helps young leaders develop confidence, teamwork, and communication skills. Through hands-on activities, group challenges, and mentorship from Summer Discovery staff, participants gain practical leadership experiences and a glimpse of what it takes to be a camp counselor.

Participants may only register for only one session.

Time: 9:30 am - 3:30 pm

Date: Tuesday & Thursday, June 16 - August 11

Will my child be intermixed with other ages at Summer Discovery?

During the main part of the day, children are broken up into age specific groups. These groups are one to two grades.

What is the staff to child ratio at Summer Discovery?

On-site, the ratio is 1:15. Off-site field trips usually have a smaller ratio depending on the location of the trip.

When I register for Summer Discovery is my child committed to attend for the full 11 weeks of the program?

Yes, registration for Summer Discovery does include the full 11 weeks of the program. During that time, participants are allowed vacation days, tuition free.

Vacation

You must request vacation days at the start of summer in your child's information packet that will be sent out in May to avoid being charged tuition. You do not need to use vacation days back to back.

What if I want to cancel early?

You will need to submit a two-week written notice and $100 early termination fee.

How often do I pay tuition?

Tuition payments are due on a weekly basis. Payments will be paid automatically by the credit or debit card on file.
