Fall 2026 tree sale
Purchase a low-cost tree through the special fall tree sale
Order online through August 25th at 4pm or until species are sold out.
- One tree per property. Shoreview residents only
- Trees will come in containers approximately 10 gallons in size
- Trees are offered at a special low cost of $50 plus tax
- Limited quantities available
- Tree survival is not guaranteed - please prepare to plant and care for tree
- No refunds or warranty
Species
Buckeye, Early Glow - A cultivar of Ohio buckeye, this medium sized tree has large yellow-green flowers in spring and early orange-red fall color. Low nut production and improved disease resistance. Height 30 ft. Width 20 ft.
Blue beech, Firespire - A small, slow-growing tree that does well in shady settings. This cultivar has an upright form with red-orange fall color. Height 20 ft. Width 10 ft.
Catalpa - A large, upright tree with large heart-shaped leaves. Showy flowers in late spring/early summer and long, thin seed pods. Height 40-70 ft. Width 20-50 ft.
Hackberry - A fast growing, large tree with uniquely textured bark. Small purple berries generally stay on trees over winter. Adaptable and tolerant of a variety of conditions. Yellow fall color. Height 50-70 ft. Width 40-50 ft.
London planetree, Exclamation - A large tree with fast growth rate. Unique mottled bark and leaves similar to maples. Hybrid of sycamore and planetree. Height 50-70 ft. Width 40-50 ft.
White pine - Fast growing evergreen with long, soft needles. Prefers moist, well drained soil in full sun. Height 50-80 ft. Width 30-40 ft.
Spring tree sale
Shoreview offers an annual wholesale tree sale to Shoreview residents. Tree survival is not guaranteed by nurseries - please prepare to plant and care for trees.
- The 2026 tree sale is open through April 17 at 4pm
- Each household may buy up to 3 trees and 5 shrubs at wholesale prices
- Residents can buy one tree bag per tree at $21 each
- Price includes tax and delivery. Trees will be delivered in late May
Ordering options:
- Online - submit your form and credit card payment online (processing fee will apply).
- Mail - use the order form available in the Spring 2026 Shoreviews and mail in your check
- In person - come to city hall to place your order with a card or check
All payments are due at the time of ordering.
